It seems as though our loved ones have been anticipating this news for ages, and now the moment has finally arrived—we are getting married! Our journey began many years ago, and sharing our happiness with you is truly overwhelming. You have been an essential part of our lives and story, so it means a great deal to celebrate this meaningful occasion with you.
Their first encounter took place in Indianapolis during the Final Four at a party Amp hosted for his friends from Oregon State. Unexpectedly, Kearsten moved from Oregon to Indianapolis the following year, leading to another chance encounter.
They met again at a winter party in January 2008, sharing their first date at PF Chang’s and Suite 38 a few days later. By the time Eli Manning was celebrating his MVP victory during Super Bowl XLII—they commemorated the occasion with tequila shots and their 18-year journey together was well underway.
Amp chose Kearsten’s birthday to propose, surrounded by a few friends at their house. Completely taken aback, Kearsten happily accepted—and Amp had a ring ready for the occasion.
